Upon entering the room after the Projectionist went completely away, it appears that he walks to the closed gate off-screen. As well as meeting this walking projector one can find a tape from Wally Franks. On Level 11, while collecting thick ink for Twisted Alice, Henry first sees the Projectionist wandering slowly in Lunch Room 2, not noticing that Henry was there from the outside. The Projectionist debuts in Chapter 3: Rise and Fall. Swiftly entering the station will halt the Projectionist and make him resume wandering off. Upon getting chased, immediately run away and find the nearest Little Miracle Station. There is also a small chance of him appearing in normal levels. Upon completion of the level type where he appears, it can be accessed again by interacting with the Ink Heart found near the elevator in the Safehouse area. Unlike in Bendy and the Ink Machine, the Projectionist will not be provoked by the removal of Ink Hearts, but only if Buddy Boris is within The Projectionist's line of sight. Later on, he appears as an enemy that appears in a specific level type that randomly appears, in which Ink Hearts must be collected in lieu of Supplies. In the base game, the Projectionist does not make any physical appearances, but his trademark scream can be heard when picking up any Ink Heart found in the studio. In-Game Appearances Boris and the Dark Survival Encounters When Henry does so, the Projectionist will immediately dash towards the area it was taken from, likely to catch Henry if he does not run or hide. Having his ink hearts touched or taken will anger him, drawing his attention regardless of how far away he is. The ink hearts are the Projectionist's "collection". The Projectionist will stop running after Henry flees far away from him or safely hides inside one of the Little Miracle Stations. When close enough, the Projectionist does a physical attack by hitting Henry with his snatching hands.
If Henry is caught by the Projectionist's light or getting provoked by Henry's weapon while not noticing, the Projectionist soon becomes angry and aggressive, emitting a roar-like screech and then proceeds to chase after Henry. Henry can avoid being seen by the Projectionist by hiding in one of the Little Miracle Stations or keeping his distance from the Projectionist and his light. This significantly boosts his vision range, allowing him to spot Henry far across the area and often spot him around the corner. The Projectionist has the ability to project light from the projector where his head should be, similar in the use of an actual flashlight helmet/headwear. Norman's human intelligence is entirely gone, turning him into a completely feral and violent ink cyborg monster, but the Projectionist is usually calm as long as no one is in his sight. Norman Polk, one of the few victims at Joey Drew Studios with a known cause of transformation, being captured by Sammy and held captive until transforming into a projector-headed creature prior to Henry coming back to the studio 30 years later. He's also wearing gloves covered in lines of ink. He has a speaker sticking out from the middle of his chest. The Projectionist seems to wear clothing if one looks really carefully, with rolled-up sleeves for his shirt, and pants with a rolled-up left pant leg and a pair of large boots. He has a film reel stuck in his left shoulder. Several long, hanging black wires (possibly film roll) are attached to his back and under his head, with the longest wire attaching to his right ankle, and another attached to his right arm. Also, since you might need to backtrack several times to find an object you overlooked, it would be nice to be able to run (the character is very slow). The Projectionist is a tall humanoid creature that is almost completely covered in ink and notably has a projector as a head.
I have only two aspects to criticise the first one luckily is easily solvable: I found a bit annoying the decision to make everything you see so blurry, so I preferred to deactivate the option and the second one is regarding the voice acting: your character sounds strangely relaxed, considering the creepy situation in which he is involved. Depending on how skillful you are, the game can take you between twenty and forty worthy minutes to solve it. Regarding the gameplay, in this first entry what you need to do is to find several hidden objects scattered throughout the level I have to remark, in this sense, the excellent level design, because although these items are in very logical places, it still can be pretty challenging to spot them.
